Issue 25 / Summer / February 2012

Hi #subname#

Welcome to the February edition of Specialty Seed's SeedData Newsletter.

Early February has been a frustrating period for a very important group of our clients namely our seed producers. Dull wet weather throughout Canterbury has meant delays in what is shaping up to be a very promising harvest.

As I speak there has been very little harvest done, comparatively speaking, over the last 10 - 14 days. The flow on effect of this has meant delays in seed availability particularly in the large group of later flowering perennial ryegrasses. The most popular of these ryegrasses should start to be coming on stream on or around the 20th of February.

We have been keeping our Seed Supply Update page on our website current and feel free to have a look or give us a call.

In this edition:
