Seed treatments products can include insecticides, fungicides and biological additives (in combination or singularly), designed to help maximise plant establishment. Pest Go Seedling protection for Grass and other Pasture seeds
Pest Go Pasture seedling protection is recommended for wheat, maize, forage brassicas and grass seed crops.
This seed treatment is 600g/litre clothianidin in the form of a suspension concentrate, and an anti-dust and seed flow.
Insects controlled: Argentine stem weevil, Black beetle and Grass grub larvae in newly-sown grass.
Withholding period: Maize, Sweetcorn, Wheat, Cereals, Forage Brassicas and Grass seed – 42 days from sowing. Grass seed over sown into pasture (stitching) – 21 days from sowing.
Important notes:
- Seed treated with clothianidin must not be used for either human or animal consumption
- Treated seed may be harmful to birds and therefore should be completely covered by soil and treated seed should not be left in areas accessible to them
- Always wear cloves and dust masks when handling seed
- Avoid contamination of water supply areas, dust from treated product and do not leave empty seed bags in the environment.
Pest Go Brassica Seedling protection
Pest Go Brassica Seedling protection is recommended for cereals, forage brassicas, grass seed, maize, sweetcorn, potatoes, pumpkins and winter squash. This seed treatment is 600g/litre imidacloprid in the form of a suspension concentrate, and an anti-dust and seed flow.
Insects controlled: Aphids, Argentine stem weevil, Springtails, Wheat bug.
Withholding period: Stock must not graze on any crop treated with imidacloprid within 42 days of planting. Pasture mix over sown (stitched in) must not be grazed for 21 days of planting.
