Devour Annual Ryegrass

product-devour400

Type: Tetraploid

Devour is a westerwolds annual ryegrass that has extremely fast regrowth making it very suitable for very quick winter feed.

Devour being a tetraploid ryegrass contains roughly twice the sugars, carbohydrates and water of a diploid ryegrass, making it extremely palatable by all stock types.

Devour is typically used to sow in after a brassica, cereal silage crop, or maize crop and then can be used for winter grazing and then shut up for either more grazing or silage.

We recommend Devour to be sown in the Autumn between January and June, to be used where you need quick, high quality, cheap and short term green feed. The earlier you sow it the more grazing you get from it.
